Perfect little gadget

I'm using it on my rod that I have my pike spearing decoy on. If a pike takes the minnow while I'm out of the shack no problem.

Novel Idea

I use release clips for live bait fishing on the reservoirs. Tried every one I could find, since the original ones are out of production for many years now. Have not gotten to use this one yet, but upon inspection it looks like it might work pretty good. Time will tell.
